THE WORKS AT SIBIU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
The successful completion of the Expansion and Modernization Project of Sibiu International Airport is a significant moment for the construction and infrastructure industry in Romania.
Bog’Art and Con-A (as the leading partner) have been essential partners in this project, coordinating construction and installation activities, contributing to the transformation of the airport into a modern and functional hub. The works involved expanding the terminal from 6,200 sqm to 22,400 sqm, increasing the number of boarding gates from five to seven, doubling the number of security filters from three to six, and increasing the number of check-in counters from eight to 21 (of which seven are automated). Meanwhile, UTI Construction and Facility Management was responsible for implementing advanced airport technologies, ensuring the integration of modern solutions to optimize passenger flows, security, and operational efficiency.
The close collaboration between Bog’Art, Con-A, and UTI has highlighted not only the quality of the works but also the remarkable ability to complete the project on time, within just 13 months from the issuance of the construction permit. This outstanding achievement reflects the professionalism, efficiency, and capability of the involved partners to deliver complex projects to high standards promptly and responsibly.
