BOG’ART LEADS THE WAY IN BUILDING ROMANIA’S MOST MODERN PEDIATRIC ENERGENCY HOSPITAL
BOG’ART, as the leading partner, alongside CCN Altyapı Yatırımları ve İnşaat A.Ş., UTI CONSTRUCTION AND FACILITY MANAGEMENT, DACORUM GRUP, D.Z. Medicale, and TERRATEST Geotehnic, has started the construction of the Pediatric Emergency Hospital in Cluj County, which will become the most modern pediatric hospital in Romania. This state-of-the-art medical facility will transform the landscape of healthcare services for children across the country.
Located on a 16-hectare site in the Borhanci district of Cluj-Napoca, the new hospital will serve as a key center for the care of approximately 50,000 children annually, offering a wide range of specialized medical services.
Hospital Features and Design Highlights:
- Capacity: The hospital will feature 506 beds for continuous hospitalization, 51 beds for day care, and 30 beds in the ICU.
- Advanced Facilities: The facility will include 8 operating rooms and 18 specialized medical departments, including chronic care, oncology, and intensive care services.
- Building Structure: The hospital will be a cutting-edge, multi-story facility, designed to the highest standards:
- Sublevel: Parking for 621 cars, 376 bike spaces, technical areas, and radiotherapy services.
- Ground Floor: A welcoming main lobby, Emergency Unit (UPU), imaging, a food block, storage, staff lockers, and integrated research and education spaces.
- First Floor: Dedicated to blood transfusion, operating blocks, neonatal care, ICU, nephrology, and day care.
- Second Floor: Housing technical spaces, sterilization areas, a suspended garden, and a café.
- Floors 3-5: Dedicated to various pediatric specialties such as surgery, hematology, oncology, cardiology, and pulmonology.
- Technical Floor: Technical spaces and access to the heliport.
- Construction Duration: The project is set to be completed in 48 months.
