A SIGNIFICANT NEW STEP FOR THE FUTURE OF MEDICAL INFRASTRUCTURE IN ROMANIA: CRAIOVA REGIONAL EMERGENCY HOSPITAL
In a groundbreaking move for Romania’s healthcare system, Bog’Art together with its trusted partners – Constructii Erbasu, CONCELEX, and CON-A, will start the construction of the Craiova Regional Emergency Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility that will set a new standard in medical care and infrastructure.
The Craiova Regional Emergency Hospital will serve as a pivotal healthcare hub, with a capacity of 807 beds for continuous hospitalization and 45 beds for day hospitalization, all organized into six specialized medical centers. The hospital’s main building will rise to five floors and span a total built area of 37,492.48 sqm, with a maximum height of 27.90 meters. Designed with functionality and accessibility in mind, the facility will also feature three additional buildings, including technical cabins and a security guardhouse.
The hospital will be equipped with modern infrastructure to ensure top-tier patient care, including a heliport capable of accommodating the Black Hawk S70 helicopter, allowing for rapid access to the Emergency Room. The campus will be surrounded by 135,350 sqm of lush green spaces and parks, providing a peaceful and healing environment for patients and visitors alike. Additionally, 1,567 parking spaces will be available, with 63 designated for disabled persons and 10 equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.
Spanning a total land area of 246,127 sqm, this ambitious project will cater to over 250,000 patients annually, strengthening the healthcare infrastructure of not only Craiova but the entire region. The hospital will undoubtedly play a crucial role in enhancing medical services, with advanced facilities designed to provide high-quality care to those in need.

The Craiova hospital marks another milestone in the company’s impressive portfolio, which includes key healthcare projects such as the Sinaia Town Hospital, the Bucur Maternity at the Sf.
