Bucharest One, second largest building in Bucharest, out of the ground
Bucharest One, the office tower, which at the end of the construction will become the second highest building in the Capital, head out of the ground next to the Pipera passage, placed in the north side of the city, after the construction works started in spring this year.
The tower developed by the investment fund Globalworth Real Estate, founded and managed by the business man Ioannis Papalekas, will have three floors of underground parking, whose structure has been executed for the most part, so the workers of the construction company Bog’Art will soon begin the construction of the 23 levels over the land which will erect the building to a height of about 130 meters. Currently, the tallest building in Bucharest is the office tower Sky Tower, having 137 meters and which is located near-by, the two projects following to be separated only by the Promenada mall.
The underground structure works of the Bucharest One project required an additional attention because a part of the land is above the subway station Aurel Vlaicu, area where the building will have fewer levels. On most part of the land on which will be developed this project operated until recently the car showroom Porsche Aviaţiei, which has been moved in the Pipera area, after the real estate division of Porsche Group decided to sell the property to Papalekas.
